Hard To Breathe, But I Won't Drown
I’m engulfed by a sea of
worry and anger and persecution
The water of labels and persecution
are making it hard to breathe
My lungs are weary
From work
Of fighting not to drown
If I hold onto my faith
It’s impossible to drown
I won’t let go
No one will break me
As weary as I am
From fighting water
I have faith that I won’t drown
Because my lifeguard walks on water
