"So...who or what do we have to shake down, knock out, or blow up?" Jak (from Jak ii)

Writer’s block …
fingers waxen, halting
typing out a repetitive, ugly pattern
the words like burns across the page.
Hesitantly, I gingerly attempt to grasp hold of my
unusually absent river of creativity
tapping the flow
guiding it to where it is needed, an irrigation system for the drought in my head
and am met with empty hands and slapped wrists.

Funny, I've never seen someone try to creatively capture the "Writer's Block". Unique attempt and polished piece!

Oh, wow, I'm living this poem right now! Yeah, you've got it pretty much right about how writer's block is. You know, I actually had to explain it to a friend the other day, I should have shown her this poem. Do you think maybe you could check out some of my work? Please?

learn some new words, its an awesome tool to have when you write if you know the most obscure type of word.

I feel like this poem really emphasizes what writer's block feels like. Some people that do not write don't know the feeling, and this poem states it exactly. I think that it is a fine poem, and is definitely worthy o fbeing published.

I like it very much. This captures the feeling of writers block. Desperately searching for inspiration but you find nothing and left with frustarion or disappointment.

I like the metaphor you use in this piece. It is consistent without; making your piece strong.

Keep writing.

And please check out my work. Ratings are GREATLY appreciated.
