Cowardly Liar
When the world is gray and the sky is crying,
you'll be there hiding from the darkness.
Unlike a hero,
you won't be fighting.
The water spills down the roads,
thick like the blood of a traitor.
Where are you?
You're cowering in the darkness,
you're letting them face it all alone.
They're fighting with betrayal in their hearts,
knowing their leader was a liar.
You led them to this.
You made this happen.
Where are you?
Letting them fight your battles for you,
watching them drop like flies one by one.
They are nothing against him,
you know that you're the only one.
Yet you let him slay them,
because you're afraid.
Afraid to face him yet again,
afraid to lose.
