Waiting for the Rain
You are uncertainty
You are the calm before the storm.
You are the moments before the rain starts to pour,
Waiting, waiting.
Waiting for disaster to strike.
You are the rain.
Pouring, hitting the ground hard.
You come and you go,
you disappear
and reappear with a vengeance.
But you are also the moment the rain stops
when the world is fresh and beautiful.
You are sigh of relief,
the breath of fresh air.
You are the moment people hope for during a storm.
And I would stand under the rainclouds,
I would run in the rain.
I would suffer the uncertainty
and the pain
waiting for the rain to stop.
