Black Ink
Hold out your hand and let me take it
open your mouth and breathe
This chair is too polished, these walls are too safe
our world is processed, packaged, labeled, shipped, repeat
and I know what we feel isn't love
I know 'cuz I've never felt it but
I like you, your stars, your skin, your wishes
your laugh rapped in colored wax sheets
so come take my hand lets discover a world
not black, but green and blue and pink and
on our way
we might discover
my path rapped in black velvet ink
