Front Yard
This is the place where serenity is inevitable, the sounds of chirps and lawn mowers are my melody. Yes I take pleasure where the large evergreen shades me from the despair that is the sunshine. I often perch myself on the soft grass that embraces me with kindness and cordiality; the daisies and branches are my ally's. Distraction comes upon naturally as I am overcome by the aroma of greenery and self freedom is given to me; it is okay to let go here. The sunflowers blossom and the earth circuits while I devour the bark and crown as I descend on a journey that will only end in my gawking at the immeasurable sky whose blue hue and marshmallows of happiness can often take your mind on a path of self regret but also realization; yes I know what I desire now; the eye of the trunk whispers so. Clarity is all but normal and light needs no ray; as that's the gift the leaves schlep to me. I am in wonderland, and I have not fallen down the rabbit hole.
