The Vine Alley
Light has gone
But I am now free
Your tangled wires have been cut
For so long I tussled within them
Kicking and biting at the strings that bind
For so long you only laughed
But if the fire in my eye shall abate
Allow an immense loathing to replace it
Because I now know love to be a curse
One longed for by leaders
And rued by the pathetic dreamers amongst mankind
One only left along by the strongest in solitude
May a special corner of hell remain open
Reserved for the few with hearts as black as your own
And I will be the one laughing at your laugh at your tears
Let me introduce myself anew
Let me welcome you to the rest of your life
