Little Girl
A little girl with broken shoes
Walks to school alone
She must be 5 or 6 they say
And violence must be prone
She walks into class
With a sad little frown
And hopes to god
That no one looks down
The hem of her dress Is torn to shreds
While everyone else Has brand new keds
The sad little girl
Has lost her fight
For she just went through, her darkest night
