It's Been Darker
You look at the floor
like the day before I left
(when we thought this would all be fine)
(like you did when you loved me)
But now you love her instead of me.
And I miss your mother
I miss the sound of your off key singing
And your smell of rain
How your heart beat just for me
You took me from a dark, dark world
But since you've left it's been darker.
