Every word he said,
scratched her heart.
Every move he made,
made her fall apart.
So, she pushed him away.
For fear that if she let him stay,
she wouldn't be able,
to make it through the day.

Simple, yet straight to the point. I like it, very relatable. In fact I know of some people that could relate to this on a daily basis, always pushing others away, so as not to hurt them and be hurt.

aww nice poem. yeah i so can relate. for your first poem on here its really good! nicce work.
I hope people will be able to relate to the girls pain as she is trying to get through a hard breakup.
