Broken
The heart is like a window,
Fragile yet strong.
It gets slammed around and broken down.
Just one tiny crack can turn into a huge break.
As I slam down my window out of heartbreak,
My heart echoes the slamming sound.
I know that it will take a while to heal but my heart will go on.
As I know the sun will shine through my window tomorrow,
The sun will warm my heart again,
Melting away the ice from heartaches past.
