Fight
Death spreads
Your body shuts down
Chemo makes it worse
Other meds dont help
Your slipping away
Your leaving me
You don't have a choice
Death made it for you
And I guess it's your time
I wish I could stop it
I wish I could help
But I stand in the background
I don't want you to see my pain
I want you to be happy
For the last few days
I just hope the pain stays away
I love you
I will fight the tidal wave
The emotions are drowning me
But I will keep my head above the surface
This is a never ending human fight
Not everyone wins
But everyone fights
So Fight, Fight, Fight
To survive
