Now I See
The sky was dark.
The lightening was bright.
I was driving in the rain.
Cars were slow, rain was fast.
I could see nothing but the blurred lines on the road.
The dry rain poured over the streets.
The city I called home,
Was drowning in the rain.
The whispering roars of thunder,
Filled the emptiness.
The rain comes to an end,
The blurred lines become clear.
I can now see clearly the road I’m headed down.
