Arabella
When I was younger I had an imaginary friend.
She has pretty white wings,
She kinda looked like me.
I named her Arabella
We would play and grow everyday.
We even had the same birthday.
As we got older, we became closer.
My best friend,
Arabella
I would tell my mommy and daddy of Arabella.
Mommy would start crying and leave the room.
Do they not like her?
What’s wrong with Arabella?
Mom and dad told me the truth.
My sister Arabella.
When I was ten Arabella left me.
She said she would always be there.
She would be my guardian.
My angel Arabella.
I would draw as a child.
People thought they were portraits.
But their not they just look like me.
They were all of Arabella.
A girl with long hair, bright smile, and knowing eyes,
wearing a pretty white dress to match her wings.
Always barefoot.
My beautiful sister,
Arabella
Going through life I could feel her there.
walking beside me, smiling.
When I had a daughter I gave her a special name.
