My Little Sunshine
My little sunshine, there she sits
She hides behind the mask of her glow
She is ready to call a quits
Drowning her sorrows in a flask but no one knows
For she is drowning in her own sadness
Yet she lets no one in because that would be madness
To let people know her pain
Would be a mistake because then they all would drive her insane
But she puts on a brave face
To get through the day
Faking a smile in every way
But no one will notice she is not really moving
she is simply standing in place
That is the truth of my little light
Too bad she will not make it through the night
