Reality
When you think of your life, what do you see?
A family, love and everything seeming so perfectly?
But, when you venture to one's soul, what do you find?
Pain, sorrow, and hurting lies?
When you think of your life, is it a painted picture?
One of which is handmade and one crafted from authorities lectures,
you are made to see what is not actually there,
born into a world that was meant to be unfair.
We see models that starve themselves to look beautiful,
We see a world of war, perceived to make it seem we are doing something wonderful.
We must act a certain way, and be a cartain person to feel accepted,
but in reality, we will never be.
We have so much drilled into our heads, what we know, and what we never will,
But, once we open our minds, a new world is presented, and our hearts are once again filled.
We see the truth that we will never be good enough, so we must learn to love ourselves.
We must throw away the poision we were given, and fill the well with clean water.
But, we will always wake to the same new day,
going over and repeating what he government must say.
