A Poem for Mom
Mama lives in quandary
but she's adherent everyday
Mama's face holds bereaved eyes
but she's a patroness for us all
Mama's got tired bones
but she stands so, so tall
Mama loves the way you love
when others always come first
Mama puts herself last every single day
we never notice, it's just always been this way

My mother has always been the biggest supporter in my life, in my sibling's lives. It wasn't until very recently that I've begun to see how my mom lives, how she provides for three children who aren't always capable of thanking her in the way she deserves. I can honestly say that she's my role model, and that I am eternally grateful.
