I know what you did.
When I was three I saw my mommy cry
because my daddy found someone
he thought she was prettier than my mom
but she is beautiful
When I was fourteen I woke up to screams
cries, yells, gasps in the late late night.
because my dad found another someone
younger, and prettier, than my mom
but my mom is beautiful
Now I am older, and so are my mom and dad.
He’s still my dad, She’s still my mom.
I’m still three and fourteen,
But I’m not the me I was. I grew.
With All those memories are still inside of me.
Now I am scared that one day I will know heartbreak
that one day I will fall asleep in your arms,
and wake up the next day,
with your arms not around me
because you found someone younger and prettier
just like my daddy did, when I was three.
