Him and Her
She was the literal incarnation of poise; her eyeliner winged to infinity. Her lips held the perfect pout. He was some young man who viewed himself through a smoky mirror and decided what he saw was accurate. She loved him. She loved him with the type of selfless conviction that human heroes are built upon in storybooks. He loved her. He loved her with the power of a thousand suns that burned billions of light years away. He was convinced their love kept those very suns burning; as if her heart held the secret to all life. They danced to the music they wrote in the time lapses between their synchronized breathing.
