People Say
People say to be yourself.
When you do, they call you weird, nerd, freak, geek, loser.
People say to tell the truth.
When you do, they act hurt.
But sometimes the truth hurts doesn't it?
People say you can be whatever you want.
When you tell them your dreams, they act as if the reality would be a nightmare.
People say to find your place in the world.
When you do, they say you could've done better.
People say to listen to what they're saying.
When you do, you realize that people are wrong.
You say they don't know you.
When the words leave your mouth, you realize that you can do anything.
You ask yourself who they are to tell you your limits.
When you do, you find an answer. The results are that they're no one. They're not worthy to tell you them.
You know that you lead your own life.
When you know this, you realize that you have no limits.
