Under The Moon
It rushed in
and filled his mouth
He whipped around randomly
Attempting to expulse it from his lungs
There was nothing he could do now
To far under to get up
To much in to get out
His eyes seemed to pinpoint the moon
Thousands of miles above his head
It watched him with a grim expression
It seemed so close and calming
He fixed his eyes and allowed the darkness to consume him
To drag him down
To rush into him
To envelop him entirely
And cloud his vision
Now there was just one great white spot left
Everything else was gone
The hands grabbed him
And pulled him down
Out of site of the moon
And away from all that mattered
