Like in an old deck
Of cards there is always a
Missing one. Perhaps that
Is me. Missing amongst
The pairs. Two queens. Two
Jack's. Two nines.
Two threes. But where is my
My king? I am surrounded
By jokers. One on
Each side. How they mock
Me. The game
Continues on. Card after
Card, prayer after
Prayer, but no pair
For me. Maybe it is
Time to quit. No maybe,
This time.
Go fish.
