Tidal
It begins with my head
Hanging low in dread,
It reveals my neck to tremble,
Tsunami waves they resemble,
'Til it pounds the shore of my chest,
Arm to arm, breast to breast,
My abdomen responds in shudder,
A craving, insides feebly flutter,
Urging my hips to guide me to doom,
Every step, a sonic boom--
Oh phew!
The storm passes through,
Before it returns again,
Before my final "Amen."
