On My Journey Home Through Snow
On my journey home through snow,
I learn it is not ice
That glides from the clouds
But the purest kinds of diamons
Cascading from lights,
Twinkling like falling stars,
To rest, on a bed of heavens;
As I reach out to hold
The breathtaking wonder,
How quickly it vanishes!
Too delicate for humankind,
And I learn that some things
Are destined to be a moment,
And I learn that some dreams
Should only exist in moonlight.
