behind the wall
no one knows
they can’t be judged
they’re all the same
just two people
but they love each other
even if one is slower
even if one is older
even if one is younger
even if one is bigger
even if one is blind
even if one is short
even if one is ill
even if one is thin
even if one is deaf
even if one is missing a leg
even if one is a christian
even if one has dark skin
even if one is poor
even if one is just born
even if one smokes
even if one is broken
because both have blood
and that’s enough
