Escaping Extinction
SNAP.  The massive trees collapse to the ground.
Homes of the innocent slowly destroyed.
The rainforest disappearing, in the blink of an eye
as an eruption of cries echo throughout the tall trees.
Helpless animals run for their lives; their homes demolished.
No food, no shelter, nowhere to go.
Limited hope for life as they scavenge for days searching for new homes.
Humans have become the enemy. Human kind diverting into monster like- figures.
Taking their home, their freedom.
Where else is there to go?
Little hope, little life, as the animals venture off into a new light.
