I swoop in, save you from this endless pit of self hatred 

I swoop in, save your grades from  a perilous plummet

I swoop in, throw my mental health out the window, i swoop in and save you from your own worst nightmares

But I am weak

Sometimes this endless pit of self hate sucks me in and 

I go down, down, down

I look up, extend a hand

You frown and ask why I'm drowning

Everyday i choke on the smoke of your billboard romance

I crack under pressure, you give me a gllance

I'm drowning and you're asking me for swimming lessons

Submerged, these voices they

Asphxiate me, watch me bleed

Year me down until i cannot see

Convince be this is all i can be

I'm just a small terrified girl 

In a large, terrifiyng world

I am not Batman

I'm still afraid of drowning
