The Train That Took Him Away
The train it rushes by,
And the tracks stretch on and on,
The tracks that lay cold, gray and lifeless,
And the train it has no idea what it does.
Why does it still run?
The trains
Why do they still come?
Taking the living to and from,
Stripping those from living, as well.
Why does the world keep spinning?
When he will no longer
See the sun set,
Or the stars twinkles,
Yes, the stars shining in their multitudes.
Why did he go?
When there was so much left to do?
Why?
Because it was his choice,
The last one he made.
Did he regret it?
We can only hope,
It may be the only thing that gets us
Through the night,
And the days we try to live without him.

In Memory of everyone who has taken their life because they felt they could no longer go on. Very emotional and close to home.
