The Eyes That Were Stars
Her eyes were like the stars.
They glittered, sparkled, and shined in the distance.
But her soul was like a black soul,
Where no light could escape.
Her eyes were like the stars.
They were breathtaking at first,
But were actually cursed.
She gleamed like the beautiful sun.
Yet, the closer you came to her
More damage was done.
Her mind was like the moon.
It was covered in craters and permanent marks.
Her eyes were like the stars.
They shielded behind them the real scars.
