Toy Store
It’s like walking into a toy store,
being able to choose anything you’d like.
The catch is,
you don’t get to choose how
much money you have to spend.
My friends can chose the same toy
because it’s their price.
I can choose anything,
because it’s all in my price range.
I’ve told my friends about this,
and they have no problem
with my choosing.
Discontent with my options
is obvious,
due to their manuals.
They have no idea how to install
my programming.
I’ve pretended to solely
like this toy that
all of my friends like.
Desperately, I tried to
keep on with the act.
I’ve come to terms that,
while everyone else likes a toy,
I might like a lot,
But that’s what makes me who I am.
I don’t walk in a straight line.
My line drifts from side to side,
and I’m okay with that.
