What she Found
The softness of the water
silk spun when touched
Gentle and lush
And to innocent eyes,
It seems like not a disguise
But a warm hand to hold
Not full of lies.
So the innocent girl,
With a wind ridden mind
steps into the water,
to see what she’ll find
But the water isn’t still
its not timid or tame
She stepped into the water
and was never the same
Like claws the current grabbed her feet
dragging her into the dark watery deep
She grabbed at the sand she once walked upon
But it too was so fragile,
And like her it was gone.
