What is a second?
I used to think time went by so slow
Every second was just an infinity
I was hopping tomorrow I would be eighteen and driving away to my dream home
I remember this one time I was sitting in the car looking out the window
I said to myself ‘ I wonder what I’m going to be like when I’m older
Am I going to be like those teens in the movies, beautiful and popular
Am I going to be the underdog'
But as I grow older everything has changed
I want time to slow down
During class I’ll think of the next forty minutes I’ll have to endure of the pain fully boring lesson
Then I remember that the next time I open my eyes its going to be tomorrow and this will be just another memory in the wind
Education was boring but now its exciting
I’ve always been curious but now knowledge is just another daily fuel to get me going
So many questions to be answered
The more I learn the more questions I have
Two always stay the same
What is the point of living?
What is time itself?
Humans haven’t figured it out yet
What will happen when we do?
