Catching Clouds MAG
I reach out my hand
To catch the moment
As it spins to the ground
Like an autumn leaf,
falling amber,
the moment twinkling, encased, within
Twirling swirling gliding its way
Down to earth
To join the scrapbook of those already fallen
Glued together
gleaming in the sunlight
beneath a horizon of embers
waiting until they too
dim into the earth’s deep tones
and join the flock of their comrades
like resting crows
but still unreachable
flying from your caressing fingertips
and eventually fading
into the nebulous sky
