Viracocha Wanders--The Story of the Inca Empire
He finds rocks to make his friends.
He molds them into tenacious men.
But they are unfaithful, and lethargy takes.
He floods the world, left to ponder.
Viracocha wanders.
The god killed all but two,
now having to make due.
Locked in a cave time tells their fate.
He flies above as their crafty condor.
Viracocha wanders.
Four brothers emerge, to his delight.
Stones thrown, one brother slew. The other three part ways.
One stays behind, he launches an empire.
He left the other two for yonder
Viracocha wanders.
Brother fights brother
the sun and winds--the loot of Manco
the cost for a city golden.
a god who wanted friends, not feuds so fierce.
Viracocha wonders.
