Forgotten
I remember a time where we were completely care free,
The times where we would dance like no one else was there,
You and I were inseparable,
It wasn't until I came back that day,
When I realize it was all a lie.
You left me wondering what happened,
You left me with unanswered questions,
I am not mad anymore,
You and I were the rope,
that tied together so flawlessly,
Our friendship was so tight,
That the knot took forever to come undone,
I am now left with a single strand of string,
That you burned with your fire.
