Questions of Fire
Fire
It's red glow enticing.
The coals
That even though the fire is long gone
Are still hot
Throw a piece of paper in
And it ignites
A beautiful ball of flame
That lasts for only a moment
But in that moment
You see…
What?
What do you see?
Is it a single word on the paper?
Or do you choose to look away,
To not care.
Life is like that burning piece of paper.
It's beautiful
But only if you choose to see it that way.
