Enjambment Poem
She’s alone
in an empty room
no light or sound, but
the walls are windows
only seeing blackness
One big nightmare
There’s a ticking of a clock
speeding up
tick, tick, tick
faster and faster with every second
tick tick tick
it becomes a constant sound
Her hand cover her ears
she’s shaking, crying, and screaming
trying to hear anything but the ticks
The windows shatter
glass flies across the room
hitting and cutting her skin
she begins to bleed
“I don't want to die” she whispers
Exhausted
dizzy and weak
she falls to the floor
but before she hits
she wakes up to find
it was only another nightmare
