Rome.
A civil war commences.
An invincible Empire fractures.
Caesar assumes the helm.
Rome.
Led by a God
as invincible
as his city.
Rome.
But concealed from Caesar’s ear, a whisper of distrust gained decibels.
Fear of tyranny thrived and loyal friends turned to conspirators.
“He must fall, for
Rome.” The plot
constructed, The
Ides of March are
come.

23 holes, pierced.

23 blades, sliced crimson red.
23 cuts, each vile thrust, for Rome.
The final blow,
the unkindest.
Marcus Brutus.
Caesar’s Angel.
Et tu, Bruté?

Then fall,

Caesar.
