To feel like a twisted mistake
I know what it is like
To cry yourself to sleep every night
I know what it is like
To get bullied, every day.
I know what it is like
To take showers at 3 am so your parents don't hear you breaking
I know what it is like
To pretend to be happy
I know what it is like
To be afraid to ask for help
but...
I know what it is like
To ask for help
I know what it is like
to recover
I know what it is like
to truly be happy
