Insomniacs plea
Sleep come find me
Where nobody else can.
Take me up high
Where dreams float by,
Maybe they'd carry me
To the colorful spectrum
Of dancing light.
Sleep come save me,
Drowning In the waves
Of the river of insomnia.
My lungs are burning
And Depression weighs me down
Like a sack full of bricks.
I have no where else to go.
I'm begging you, please,
Drag me up to shore.
Sleep embrace me
As tight as can be
and don't let go
Hold me
in a blanket of stars
Take away
the bitter cold biteof unrest.
Tell those monsters
Lurking from under my bed
To roll over and play dead
And Slay the ones
That creep in my closet.
Do what must be done
So long as you
Just take me away
And promise me
That I can stay.
