Untitled
Dreams of death dance through the thoughts of unhappy souls,
Tempting them with promises of relief
Creating illusions of peace and happiness
Painting murals of star-filled galaxies,
Their arms outstretched,
Clothed in wildflowers,
Tainting the eyes of those in pain; causing bitter tears to fall,
Stinging the scars scribbled across the limbs of those infected with loneliness
putting an almost permanent distortion filter on reality.
spewing hasty apologies for their current state of being
Supplying masks for its victims,
That they’ll be able to fool the innocent eye
But eyes once tainted can see pain in others as clear as day.
