Alien In My Bathroom
I opened my eyes.
I heard something.
I went to see the Sun,
But then it dawned on me.
It was still midnight,
Bathed in eerie silent.
The stars were dancing,
The clouds threw shadows upon me.
There were no hints of danger,
Except for the spaceship next to my house.
I thought I went mental.
Perhaps it was my imagination.
So I slipped wearily into bed.
My eyelids were heavy,
Forcing me to close my eyes.
Just when I was hypnotized
A sound went,
CRASH!
My heart jumped out of my chest.
At first, I thought it was my cat
Chasing an old stubborn rat
In the middle of the night.
But then the cat was lying on my bed,
Sleeping soundly and seemed safe.
Except its head was detached.
Something
Killed
My cat.
I was scared stiff.
My face was pale.
My eyes were full of tears
That they can no longer see.
Some animal had eaten my cat.
Just then I saw
A shadow casted from the bathroom.
Something is in my house.
I was paler than ever.
I had to defend myself,
But not with my bear hands.
I took a baseball bat next to my bed,
Surely I will hit the monster in the head.
Each steps weighed a ton.
As I approach to the room,
It starts to glow neon green
As if someone had turned on a powerful light.
Something is still in my house.
Closer. Nearer.
Heat was draining from my body,
Like someone was sucking my soul.
My sight was starting to fade away.
I felt weaker as I approached.
Then…
I made a quick turn.
I wanted to scream.
Standing in front of me,
Was a zombie-like alien.
Bright green glowed from its body.
Its red-coloured eyes fixed on me,
Snake-like slits visible in between.
Its face was covered in half shadow.
Scales glinted in the deflection of moonlight.
The creature groaned and showed its fangs,
Fresh blood was
Dripping
From
Its
Mouth.
My skin was frozen ice.
My body was a solid tree
With leaves stood up,
As if petrified by electricity.
My roots were stuck to the ground.
Heat drained from my body.
For a moment,
My voice was silent as the night.
I can neither swing my bat
Nor flee from the fatal monster.
Suddenly,
The creature zoomed towards me.
Soon I felt my own blood dripping from my mouth.

When I was young, I was afraid of aliens in my bathroom. I usually picture the consequences of facing one. I wrote this poem to describe my memories of my day dreaming when I was a kid.
