            didn’t die
            because of cancer

Then the tales
                     wouldn’t be so
                                           unforgettable

The best movies don’t need
            the best endings
They don’t need
            A shocking
            Boom
            Nor a
            Flash
All they need
            Is an everlasting past

And so I
            realised
I’m only the
                  pasting
                             landscape
Supporting the
                  central characters
                                             In their story

But
Even if I’m not important
                               in the story
Even if my showtime
                               is against the clock
Even if sacrificing for others
                               is my duty
I will still play my part
And be myself

Because I know
For someone out there
I’m the
          main character
And
          MY story
Will end with
                   not the best
                                      But the most satisfying ending
