Misery
Flailing in a pool, she drinks in the fresh water of her revival The airy droplets patter patter down onto smooth honey shaded shoulders
With painted on fire that rises like dust
From the rust on her skin,
She bathes in the dark, needs it, even;
For the beauty of the untainted turquoise
of the lark,
And the green fields in all its stark glory;
Is worth the hours that thrust on:
The hours that crush you down in misery.
