Invisible Twine
you say that you love me
but never in words
your heart is close
but so far that it hurts
we're intertwined by invisible lines
and I can't tell if it was you or I
who cut down the line
that was really a lie
making people ask why
and I wanted to cry
but in the end it was you
left with the dark hue
with regrets and neglects
as I became new
and forgot about you

This poem is about when you have that connection with someone, but the verbal assurance isn't there and the spark ends up dying out without much closure.
