Bruises
We all have a bruise on our hearts,
For different reasons,
For different people,
All the convincing your ok,
Hurt is expensive and hard to fix,
But it’s not impossible to overcome,
Rain washes away the dirt,
The sun will always come out tomorrow,
Footprints are left behind in our hearts,
But time moves on and so do we,
The grey sky feels depressed,
Claustrophobic,
Feelings blown through the air in whispers,
Some true Some not,
Just like road signs they direct us where to go,
But should we believe them?
Or should we take another direction?
