Messing with Milk
Entire family vacationing
to a camp ground.
Tired and sick of the ride,
soon we pul to the destination.
We burst out the car doors, as if we were getting chased,
by a pack of annoyed parents.
Shot from a long day in the car we hit the bunk .
Morning came and we were slow to move.
Picturing the day ahead of us,
lead to eating lunch before the day
craving a bright burger we all sat down.
I sat in front of my sister’s friend and Cal sat in front of my sister,
loading our bodies full of milk and burgers
cracking jokes of the the top of our heads around the table.
My sister cracks up and launches milk miles across the table
instantly hitting Cal in the face and chest,
laughing hard at what happened we clean up
keeping our day moving on we ran to the beach.
Mom and Dad relax in the water.
Immediately Cal and I find the volleyball court,
landing a two-on-two game against my silly sweet sister and her friend.
We end up around the fire with a glass of milk staring at the moon lit sky.
