Twice Broken
It was
A bright sunny day
great day for a corn maze
with my mom
sister and chloe
The heat incinerated
my shoulders
As we darted into the maze
With smiles on our face
After being in the
Ferocious sun for
2 ½ hours
My skin was warming up
Like an oven
With many activities ahead
We had gotten to the zip line
My face lit up, i was excited
Chloe went first
Sofia went second
I went last
After going a couple times
I said “i wanna go one more time”
“Ok” mom said
I parachuted onto the platform
With a massive smile
Grabbing the handlebars
Chloe giving me a
Thundering push
I went so fast
I couldn't stop
I smashed into the wooden wall
going flying backward
Landing straight on my elbow
“CRACK”
Was all I heard
I was startled
Why did i just land on woodchips?
They should have better
Safety equipment
Like an air pit
Then this wouldn't have happened!
I was appaled
My stomack plummeted
But I wasnt crying
I was such a tough cookie
Off to the doctor
