moccasins
crying in the dark wishing I could wander in a park
but we don't live like that
fairytales have solitude, but I don't know what to do
cause I don't
so this is my outlet -or something so
sometimes I get frustrated with cliche folk and wanna exclaim "no!"
with their endless complaints and minimal restraints
come walk in my shoes
how they would pain you

I wrote this peice years ago, at a time when I didn't feel I had safe and comfortable places to get away to, from time to time. It's partly about that feeling when you're so frustrated with people for complaing about so many super small things and people's inability to empathize. It's also semi inspired by one of my favorite books: Walk Two Moons.
