Head in the Clouds
I am still
I do not move
I lift my head and though I’m not moving
The sky is
The clouds glide along the sky
I am not moving
And yet everything around me is
The clouds drift
There are trees swaying in the wind all around me
Leaves tumble at my feet and fall from high up in the trees to the ground
Though I can’t feel it the earth spins and revolves
Though I am still
Nothing else is
The clouds that fill the sky
That are in various forms of shapes and sizes
They’re moving
The sky piercing blue
With the occasional white puff
The white puffs inch by inch move away
The piercing blue inch by inch fades away
I am not moving
Not changing my position
But everything else is
The clouds are changing
Moving
The sky is changing
From a blissful blue to an enchanting almost black
Time is changing from day to night
And before I can move
Everything else already has
